  I have put together an Ajax 5 star rating system that stores the &lt;br&gt; rating in my database. I want the user to be able to use the rating &lt;br&gt; system within the Google Maps InfoWindow.   Where is your map where you tried that? &lt;br&gt; It looks to me like you should get obvious javascript errors if the &lt;br&gt; variables are out of scope. &lt;br&gt; I don&#39;t see anything else wrong, but my browser is a lot better at &lt;br&gt; telling me about javascript errors. &lt;br&gt; -- Larry

  Not sure what you mean. You can draw a polyline from A to B to C; &lt;br&gt; this won&#39;t follow streets by itself. Or you can get directions from A &lt;br&gt; to B to C using streets known to Google; you can&#39;t choose which &lt;br&gt; streets it uses for that.   I know Gdirections does not produces alternate routes but i have two &lt;br&gt; questions: &lt;br&gt; 1) if i input nodes can i customize an alternate route like it was a &lt;br&gt; graph? i mean...inputing some nodes in a map representation...the user &lt;br&gt; choses the way points...and instead of using Gdirects...i could use a &lt;br&gt; simple graph algorihtm to walk by the points until my destination
